I want to share with you one quick tip that you can instantly apply on your work, whether you are designing a marketing campaign, coding a computer software, or simply writing an email. Here it is: Sleep on it.
Once you have done the first draft of your work, put it aside, ideally overnight, then come back to it with a pair of fresh and critical eyes. You may identify blind spot that you previously overlooked, you may realize your initial idea actually won't work, or you may come up with an alternative to better your work. In any case, you will almost inevitably make your initial work better.
No time to sleep on it overnight? Give it an hour or two at a minimum. Go do something else or go for a walk. Clear your mind before you come back, otherwise your fresh eyes won't emerge.
Try and let me know how it goes for you.
