In the post match interview after scoring a sensational hat trick and singlehandedly saving the whole team from the game against Spain, Cristiano Ronaldo, says:
"Above all we have to stress the effort of the team. We fought until the end."
Despite the brilliant individual performance, he didn't highlight his contribution. Instead, he focused on the team.
If that line alone couldn't convince you the leadership displayed by the Portuguese captain, look at what he posted on Facebook after the game. He says: Come on family.

True leaders believe that success couldn't be realized without the team, even though the leader him/herself is the brightest star among all.
