大多數人以為LEGO積木玩法變化多端,因此
LEGO SERIOUS PLAY最好用來啟發創意,刺激思維。
其實不然。
LSP 最厲害的地方是解決實際的企業問題。
上星期,我做了兩場LSP的應用工作坊,題目為企業創新和設計思維。用積木做brainstorming,做prototype其實只是手段(means),創造出以人為本的企業創新項目才是其目的(ends)。
但我比較貪心,我既要好玩的手段,也要具質素的結果。
除了懂得用積木外,流程設計和引導技巧才是重點。

Many people thought that LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is best used to stimulate creativity because of its creative way of playing.
It’s a myth.
The best part of LEGO SERIOUS PLAY is to solve actual business problems.
Last week, I ran two 1-day LEGO SERIOUS PLAY workshops with the applications in Corporate Innovation and Design Thinking. The way we brainstormed and prototyped with LEGO bricks was a playful “means” to achieve the “ends”.
In the end, it is the “ends” – the business outcome that counts.
But I am greedy – I want an engaging and playful “means” AND solid “ends”.
That’s where LEGO SERIOUS PLAY comes in with careful workshop design and skillful facilitation.
